Water lilies earrings

Today I was wearing my own Merryland earrings! Actually, this pair is one of my favorites, so I decided to keep it! For those who want to order the specific pair I'll just make a new one!

So, here are my water lilies earrings...just came out of a fairytale!

Mom's blanket in the sun!

Lately, the days are getting warmer and warmer, turning this dull winter into a new, beautiful spring! It is still a bit chilly though, but there's no way that you can keep yourself indoors. It's like your body demands its daily dose of sun! Nature is calling you aloud, showing off its new blossoms!

So this weekend I went on a picnic! It was really revitalizing! There's nothing like the Greek sun! Everything seems nice and easy under the warm touch of this glorious sunlight...Such beauty around! Feeling so alive!

Here are a couple of photos that I took with my iphone:

I'm going to take this opportunity and praise my mother's present: this colorful crochet afghan blanket that, not only did it keep me warm during the winter, but it also proved to be the perfect picnic rug!

My mother is selling these beautiful handmade blankets from 70 up to 100 euros, depending on their size and material quality.

I took an extra photo to show the details of the specific blanket:

This one is approximately 1m x 1.3m. You can order it for the price of  80 euros.

It might now be out of season, but still I want to post some more of my mother's  crochet blankets because I think they are marvelous (being her daughter and staff)!

Till then, enjoy the sun and have fun!

DIY idea: Plastic Animals Hoop!

How to make a beautiful decorative hoop for your children's room! The idea is so cheap and easy that anyone can make it happen! Just buy a bag of the common plastic animals that are sold in any toy store. Paint them with acrylic paint and paste them on an embroidery hoop!

For instance, look how charming my rainbow zoo decorative hoop came out:

K's lamp

"Either way we create what we believe". Our mind has the strength to shape our reality. This simple statement that most people will admit as being true, is the fundamental proof of our unlimited strength and our unconditional liberty. Since the choice between positive or negative thoughts is ours, we can choose our own reality.  We are the masters of our own lives. We can choose to be ill, poor, mediocre or we can rise above all the seeming obstacles and shine!

For the person who taught me to pull my own strings...the least I can do...a lighting frame with an illustration based on his own saying.

K, this is my own way to say thank you for everything that you've done for me!
